Today was Alanna's 1-month check up at the pediatrician even though she's a few days shy of turning 1 month. Her stats:
- Weight: 10 lbs 6 oz
- Length: 21.5 in
- Clothing Size: Newborn
- Diaper Size: Newborn (we will be putting on size 1 after this week)
- Accomplishments: Holds her head up since 2nd day; has rolled herself onto her side a few times; overall very strong.
- Sleep pattern: Every 2-3 hours on average
- Feeding pattern: 1 1/2 - 3 hours on average
- Mood: Happy and easy during the day and in the middle of the night, but cranky from about 7PM-10PM on average daily.
Her belly button stub still has not fallen off! The doctor treated it with some silver nitrate. If it doesn't fall off by Tuesday, then she will need to go back in on Wednesday to be treated again. I can't wait for it to fall off so that we can have real baths:) Alanna seems to really enjoy having her lower half in the water. It will definitely be a lot easier than sponge bathing since she hates being cold in the slightest way.
Feeding is going well. Next week I will start using the breast pump and hopefully that will go well and Alanna will not have issues with taking a bottle during the day since it will be very necessary once I go back to work in 2 weeks.
Alanna @ 23 Days - She loves to sleep with her arms up when not swaddled:)

She's a lil angel for sure sleeping like that haha :) Can't believe how big and strong she is... and so cool that she can already roll herself, wow. Yay for all these little details/updates! <3
